Understand the real meaning of family bonds. A bond is something that should never be broken and a good supportive family knows this. You don’t cut people off or forget they’re a member of your family, you don’t give up on someone because their going through a hard time, and most of all you never stop loving them no matter what. Unconditional love is the glue that holds families together unfortunately too often that is not the case. I learned about family values by observing other peoples families because my own was never really close or loving for that matter. I would often become envious of the bond that these families had and yearn for it. Fortunately for me my fiancé‘s family has filled a massive void in myself life by welcoming me into their family.
Nice & very appropriate for the time of year Vince when many families are preparing for the upcoming holidays and many peeps feel the most alone sadley with little or no family support. I have always been a big believer in unconditional love regardless if always recipicated by loved ones at times. :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel that one should never be judgemental of others actions or choices as we are not walking in that peeps shoes, so really don't know what is behind their choices at times in their lives. Often when in challenging situations a peep must make difficult choices just to survive that may be totaly in eyes of others "out of character". So, perhaps before being so judgemental to a loved one going through difficult times, try being there uncondionally and be supportive in anyway possible as we all have just one family!
Don't wait till someone dies or leaves your life forever to show you care!

Think before doing something hurtful to a loved one just because you may not understand things they are doing at a time in there lives perhaps just to survive!
A helping hand when one is in need is all that may be needed at times :-)
My mother was a Great example of family bonds driven by her undonditional love & non-judgemental belief to All of her family.
